This post is to confirm that my book, Hollywood Mission: Possible, has been published and is out for sale right now! It can be purchased at just about any online major retailer (Amazon, BN, etc). However, if you purchase it straight from the publisher, winepressbooks.com, you can get a very nice discount. I recommend you get it straight from there. Just click on the book pic on the right section of the screen and the WinePress book page will pop up. Hopefully we’ll see Hollywood Mission: Possible in many book stores early next year. Thank you for your support once again, and I look forward to feedback and possible opportunities to minister in your churches.

Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He laid down the mission of the church with special words found three times in the New Testament. He commanded the disciples to: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matt. 28:19), to “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation” (Mark 16:15), and to be His witnesses “both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth” (Acts 1:8).
This shows why practical evangelism and outreach is so important in our walk as Christians. We miss out on our greatest duty and calling in life when we neglect to follow God’s Great Commission. We are not ultimaltely called to be secret agents, but public ambassadors for Jesus Christ. There is no greater joy and fulfillment than when we rescue unbelievers from the pit of eternal hell and restore them to everlasting life with God. There is no greater love that can be given to another human being.
As a friend once said, “If you don’t want to evangelize an unbeliever, whether a relative or a complete stranger, you are basically saying that you don’t love that person enough to want to tell them the truth. Jesus said to love your neighbor as yourself. If you were on your way to hell, when would you want someone to warn you?”
Those words sum it all. It should be the heartbeat of our mission on earth while we still have precious time. With that said, I have posted YouTube videos below that will show you how to share your faith simply, effectively, and biblically. It is theologically driven and will help you to explain what the gospel message is to anybody and why it is so necessary amidst a world of competing religions and philosophies. These teachings can be applied to pulpit preaching, open-air preaching, personal one-on-one conversations, written statements, etc.
Episode #1: The Firefighter
Description: Why must a Christian evangelize? Do our evangelism duties stop on annual overseas mission trips or are we called to outreach everyday with strangers around us? What do we miss out on if we neglect our duties? This video will change your perspective on your life’s purpose.
Episode #2: Hell’s Best Kept Secret
Description: How do you present an effective gospel message? Is there a crucial key that so much of the church is missing today? Does this omission explain why so many believers and unbelievers are unconvicted, unconverted, and unimpressed by Christianity? This video will equip you to be a master ambassador.
Episode #3: What Did Jesus Do?
Description: Personal evangelism can be difficult, as you can often times stumble and not know what to say or how to structure your presentation to an unbeliever. WDJD teaches a helpful model for how to organize an effective gospel presentation to anyone and anytime.
EPISODE #4: God Has a Wonderful Plan For Your Life
Description: Is the “God Has a Wonderful Plan For Your Life” a biblical message? What is this “wonderful plan” promised by many mainstream Christian churches? Is it wise to use such slogans and messages in a gospel presentation to unregenerate sinners? Find out the shocking answer in this video.
EPISODE #5: When Things Go Wrong
Description: Ever had times when you’ve shared your faith with someone and it only ended up in arguments, insults, and persecution? Does this mean that our gospel messages are wrong and need to be changed in order to accomodate unbelievers? This video will inspire you to stay strong in your message.
For additional help, questions, and concerns, feel free to shoot me an e-mail. God bless you in your journey of being an effective witness for Christ and equipping others for this same glorious end.

Title: Hollywood Mission: Possible
Sermon Type: Topical
Length: 45-50 minutes

Description: Hollywood is said to be one of the most unreachable people groups in the world. Is it really? In Hollywood Mission: Possible, Steve shatters this misconception by recounting his true and inspiring testimony of his three-year missionary work in Hollywood, evangelizing famous celebrities like Brad Pitt, Tori Spelling, James Woods, and many other stars. Learn how to boldly share your faith as Steve teaches three simple but crucial principles that teach Christians how to be successful ambassadors for God.

Ideal Audience: Ages junior high and up; Christians in the entertainment industry; Christians needing to be motivated to participate in the Great Commission; the unbelievers and unregenerate.

Title: Rich Man, Poor Man
Sermon Type: Expository
Length: 45-50 minutes

Description: One of Jesus’ most famous encounters in the Bible is with the Rich Young Ruler, found in Matthew 19:16-30. Many perceive this passage to be merely a warning on the dangers of wealth and possessions. However, there is much more to Jesus’ object lesson than covetousness. With rich exposition through the passage of the Rich Young Ruler, Steve shows how comprehending this text is crucial for seeing our need for Christ salvation and reminding us why we need to be fervent laborers in God’s kingdom, especially in the field of evangelism. Steve outlines three blinders that hinder people from attaining eternal life in the Lord and being as blessed as possible when the Judgment Seat of Christ comes. Steve supplements his exposition with exciting illustrations from his missionary work in Hollywood.

Ideal Audience: Ages junior high and up; Christians needing to be motivated to participate in the Great Commission; the unbelievers and unregenerate.
